The Innovation Engineering Group are specialists in bespoke design and manufacture. We were established in 2006 as Innovation Lifts as a first tier manufacturer to the Lift and Escalator Industry. Over the past decade we have continued to invest in our people and grow our UK based manufacturing facilities with over £1.5 million reinvested in state of the art machinery. We now offer a world class bespoke engineering service to many industry sectors.
Our manufacturing roots date back to 1902, our factory in Nottingham has served the UK Lift and Escalator market continuously for this time. Originating as Furse Lifts and latterly owned by the German manufacturing giant ThyssenKrupp the Innovation Engineering Group has been a totally independent manufacturing business for over a decade. We have the experience of many generations, we are proud of our past and excited about our future.

What we do
We have expertise in architectural fabrication, specialist metalwork and ornate timber work. These elements typically would form the key visual aspects of a lift installation. We are renowned producers of scenic and panoramic elevator cabins in glass, stainless steel, brass, leather, stone and marble. Our expertise extends to bespoke cladding of escalators and lift lobbies in a broad range of decorative finishes. We are also very proud of our heritage work, with much experience in antique bronze finishes for the look of historic buildings, including hand crafted period timber finishes.
Our dedicated group company Innovation Laser offers a rapid response laser profiling service and complete sub contract manufacturing division to a wide range of industry sectors.

Our design/production team has a proven track record in creating some of the highest quality elevator cabins and lift lobbies in some of the most prestigious buildings in the world.
Familiar with the expectations of the major international architects and consultants along with an appreciation of the unique demands of discerning clients we are pleased to work with professional design teams to turn initial concepts into engineered reality. Our main production facilities are based in Nottingham UK and we are we are pleased to supply the global market.
